This shot was taken seconds after this beautiful Great Gray Owl dived into the snow after it's prey! While squeezing the life out of the poor vole it calmly turned his head to make eye contact with the lens! I will never forget how humbled and privileged I felt witnessing such a beautiful bird in it's natural habitat!
